Before we started operating tours we thought long and hard about how
to keep everybody safe whilst cycling in London and the tours are thus designed with absolute safety in mind. The
key to this is the make-up of our routes which are designed to minimise contact with other traffic in London. For this
reason you won't find us cycling around Trafalgar Square!
The route is made up as follows;
80% on dedicated cycle paths which are separate from any roads.
15% on cycle lanes along the side of roads
5% on quiet backroads
There will be a safety briefing at the start of every tour and your
guide will give you clear instructions when you are on the roads.
Additionally, you will be provided with a safety helmet which we
recommend you should wear at all times.
